Research results “Área Metropolitana do Porto”

The Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences conducted research on the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the ‘Área Metropolitana do Porto’, or Porto metropolitan region. The aim of the research was to find out the external perceptions about the region and, based on these findings, create a roadmap together with stakeholders to improve the international position and attractiveness for entrepreneurs of the metropolitan region. This research consisted of a social media analysis of start-up and scale-up organizations from 5 major cities in Europe, interviews with local stakeholders and a survey among start-ups and scale-ups. Last week the results were presented in Porto.

Danielle is junior onderzoeker bij het Centre for Market Insights. Ze houdt zich dagelijks bezig met het verzamelen, analyseren en visualiseren van onderzoeksdata.
