Sjoukje Goldman

For the 2018 FBE International Days, CMI researcher Sjoukje Goldman gave a presentation on the interaction between research conducted by the Centre for Market Insights (CMI) and the curriculum of our Digital Marketing Students. In her presentation, Sjoukje Goldman explained how research was conducted by CMI on the current state of cross-border e-commerce in Europe. The results of this research, including the knowledge gained about cross-border e-commerce, has been incorporated into the curriculum of the 2nd year Digital Marketing students. Moreover, several students of the Commercial Economics program have successfully graduated on topics related to cross-border e-commerce, using the data collected by CMI or Sjoukje Goldman’s participation in the cross-border expert group of the national research program Shopping Tomorrow.

Sjoukje Goldman
Sjoukje Goldman has been working as a researcher at the research group Digital Commerce and Emerging Technology for Business at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam since September 2014. As a PhD student she is affiliated with the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. As a lecturer she works at the master Digital Driven Business where she teaches business statistics and marketing strategy. Sjoukje has a master of science in marketing. Her expertise concerns marketing strategy, especially in the field of internationalization in e-commerce (cross-border e-commerce) and sustainable marketing. Sjoukje is also part of the Cross-border e-commerce expert group of the national research program Shopping Tomorrow.
